Our Mission

People worldwide are increasingly drawn to lab-grown diamonds due to their affordability, innovation, and sustainability. Despite the name, lab-grown diamonds possess the same chemical and physical properties as mined diamonds and are graded on the same GIA clarity scale. Starting from a tiny seed crystal, they “grow” in a high pressure system that mimics the natural process occurring over thousands of years in the earth. The difference between lab-grown and mined diamonds is indistinguishable to the naked eye, and in terms of efficiency, lab-grown diamonds clearly have the advantage.

Lab-grown diamonds present a significantly more sustainable and ethical alternative to mined diamonds. The negative environmental impact of diamond mining is substantial, disrupting ecosystems through open-pit, underground, and marine mining operations. These activities release carbon and other greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

There is a stark contrast in the environmental footprint between mined and lab-grown diamonds. For example, a single carat of mined diamond equates to nearly 100 square feet of disturbed land and generates nearly 6,000 pounds of mineral waste. In comparison, producing a one-carat lab-grown diamond disrupts just 0.07 square feet of land and results in only 1 pound of mineral waste.

Diamond mines are also hazardous for workers, being prone to collapses and explosions. Due to this, workers in these mines face increased risks of cancer, hearing loss, lung problems, and other health issues.

So, who values sustainable diamonds and ethical sourcing? Anyone looking for a timeless symbol to represent their relationship, a milestone in their life story, or a very special gift for someone they love. Choosing lab-grown diamonds allows individuals to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum while supporting products that define a better future.
